Most restaurant websites are let down by their pictures, not their layout. So a shoot is part of the build rather than something you arrange afterwards.

What the shoot includes

Half day

25 finished images, covering food, drink, interiors and a chef portrait.

Signature

Full day

50 finished images, covering food, drink, interiors and a chef portrait.

A hero video loop, and up to three vertical clips for social.

Who shoots it

Photography is produced by our media marketing partner on both coasts, directed by Hand Plated to the shot list below.

What we shoot

The list is the same every time, and we walk it with you the week before so nothing on it surprises the kitchen.

  • Your signature dishes, shot as they leave the pass rather than styled cold
  • Drinks: the cocktails, the wine by the glass, whatever the bar is known for
  • Process: hands, fire, the prep no guest ever sees
  • The room from the entrance, the way a guest first sees it
  • The best table in the room, set
  • The bar
  • Details: the linen, the ceramics, a menu in someone's hands
  • The facade, shot at the hour it looks best
  • The chef at the pass

Photographs come back 14 days after the shoot, edited and ready to use.

Every photograph and clip we deliver is yours to use forever, anywhere, at no further cost, and it stays yours if you leave. We and our media marketing partner keep the right to show the work in our own portfolios.

There is no per-use fee, nothing to renew, and nothing to buy again to put a photograph in print. If you leave, the files go with you.
